Rhiannon Major

Rhiannon has been coaching since 2013. As a swimmer, she competed at the provincial and national level for six years before retiring due to a knee injury. Since then, she has had the opportunity to coach several athletes at the provincial and national stage, travelling across Canada and internationally with her teams. While living in Ontario, Rhiannon coached for Chaco Artistic Swimming as the national team lead from 2015-2019, and as a support coach for Remix Artistic Swimming before moving to Alberta in 2022. Rhiannon has been involved with Ontario Artistic Swimming in various capacities as a Provincial Team Apprentice Coach, Assistant Coach, and Support Coach for the Train to Train (T2T) Programs.
Rhiannon works in the healthcare industry as a massage therapist. When not at the pool, you can find her in the mountains hiking, travelling, and learning new skills. |
Kailey Isbister
11/12 & AdAS Coach |
Kailey started her synchro career in Saskatchewan at the age of 8. She continued in the sport when she moved to Calgary and swam with the Aquabelles and then finished her synchro days with Calgary Elite. Kailey has a passion for coaching the younger swimmers and took on the role of our U10 coach in 2023. Kailey can often be seen in the water alongside her swimmers as she loves being able to show her athletes by doing. |
Hannah Flewelling

Hannah entered the world of Synchronized Swimming when she was 10, joining the Burlington Synchronized Swimming Club out of Ontario where she both swam and coached. She made the move to Calgary in 2021 and has recently joined our coaching staff. With a degree in Sport Management, Hannah is passionate about sport and athlete development, as well as the growth of artistic swimming from the grassroots level. |
Jocelyn Smith

Jocelyn started swimming competitively with Cascade Swim Club when she was 4 years old, and moved to Synchronized Swimming when she was 10. Jocelyn swam with the Calgary Aquabelles, beginning at the provincial level and finishing as a national level athlete.
Jocelyn began coaching with Calgary Synchro Elite in 2010. She took some time away from our Club when she completed her degree at the University of Lethbridge, and recently rejoined our coaching staff. Jocelyn has also coached for Cascade Swim Club, and has specialist knowledge of swimming endurance and stroke technique. Jocelyn believes that sport had a huge part in the development of her life skills. She looks forward to influencing our swimmers’ growth and development, by providing support in and out of the pool. Jocelyn currently works in Wealth Management, she enjoys cooking and golfing. She is also an avid traveller, recently travelling to India, Asia and Chile. |
